Yabba Dabba Doooooooo

* I feel absolutely horrible. This weekend was the final weekend for a very good friend of mine (Norm Conners) in the world of pro wrestling. He has decided to retire. Saturday night I could not attend, but because of that damn family of mine (by the way that is a joke) I was supposed to make it on Friday night but could not. It really hurts me that I was unable to be there for a friend. It is the one thing in my life that I take seriously. Being there for someone when it is important. While I was there for my wife and children when they needed me on Friday night and of course my wife and children given what was going on had to come first, it still makes me sad that I was not there for Norm....and for that....I am very sorry.

* Meet Me At Mullen's. If you are reading this, and have not stopped down at Mullen's to sit and have a beer and some great food, then you are not a true friend of mine!!! I am there every day....there is no excuse that I would not see you there.

* They should call Tiger Woods situation: Cash for Clunkers II! Have you seen some of these women he cheated with? C'mon Tiger...

* If I hear the Tiger Woods is changing his name to Cheetah joke one more time I am going to cut off my own pinky finger!

* If you could name Santa's Reindeer, what would you name them? E-mal me at bubba@mullensbarandgrill.com

* I need a little DMB right now!

* Anyone know of a good pick up basketball game in the South Hills? I would love to start playing!

* Al Gore says the Ice Caps will be completely melted by Summer 2014. Wanna bet?

* It really doesn't matter anyway because none of us will be here after 2012. Wanna bet!?

* Those damn Mayans.....they knew so much....or maybe they just got bored and stopped writing a calendar 4,012 years in the future! I could hear it now...."Hey Theotuhican, do you really think we need a calendar for the next 4,000 years? Your right Palenque....I'll just stop here at 4 dashes, three circles and a half moon."

* Do not worry what happens after you die. God will take care of that. God gave us the gift of life. Cherish it now. Remember, that is his GIFT to us. Don't over look it. You may find yourself on the other side with God saying (and I am paraphrasing): You dumbass. It was LIFE that was your gift.....what are you going to do now???

* I have to tell you that I am very fortunate with my partner in Mullen's. With as many bad experiences as I have had...he is the best!!! That is why I am so passionate about what we are doing on the North Shore and in the future on Carson Street.

More tomorrow....same Bat Time...Same Bat Blog!
