Steelers

- OK....so I have read all the Facebook posts and Tweets about the Steelers loss today to the Raiders. It is amazing.
I was standing on the sidelines for the end of the game. The touchdown pass was literally 5 yards in front of me. The catch on the sidelines was two.

Here are the three things that I saw:
1. Joe Burnett MUST make that interception. Wookie made a comment to me saying "That is why he is a D back!" BS!!! He is an NFL player and he MUST make that play, at that critical of a moment. And let us not forget he was a kick returner in college. He knows how to catch the ball.

2. The jumpball on the sidelines, was literally who could jump higher. And, truth be told, everyone jumped for the ball, and nobody tried to stop the guy from catching it.

3. On the final touch down, nobody had the guy covered. Someone waved Ryan Munday to the other side of the field, as he was running there, he looked back and saw the receiver uncovered, raced back...by then it was too late.

4. (I know I said only three) On the hail mary pass at the end of the game. A Steeler (either Wallace or Sweed) had both hands on the ball, and just could not bring it down.

5. (I know...) that 15 yard penalty on Mundy was garbage.

But, with that being said we are 6 - 6, and will have to win EVERY game to even have a chance to make the playoffs. Mike Tomlin keeps saying, this is not our team. This is not who we are.
I beg to differ. If actions speak louder then words, this years Pittsburgh Steelers team IS a team that blew 6 games in the 4th quarter, and not any of the words in the world can change that.

I love the Steelers. I always will. They are MY team, just like they are YOUR team. But, I just hate it when we are down, and right now....we are down!

- Great weekend at Mullen's. I know I am biased, but we are without question the BEST sports bar in Pittsburgh. HANDS DOWN. Best TV viewing, best food, best staff, best specials. If you love sports, and this is not just an ad....if you are not watching it at Mullen's then you are missing something.

- People that think that the world owes them something, make me so mad. If you want something....work for it. Ask anyone that has ever been a part of my life as I have gone through it, I was NEVER handed anything. I have worked for everything.

THE WORLD DOESN'T OWE ANY OF US SHIT! WE OWE IT! IF YOU WANT IT....WORK FOR IT!

- Did I tell you how soothing Christmas lights are?

- Do you know what would be fun and awkward (not that it could happen), if we each could have a reunion of people we have known in our lives. I think it would be fun for me, because I love awkward.

Gotta go cry myself to sleep......
